BWPPM is a small, locally owned business serving Ely and the surrounding areas, including boat-in and remote access properties. Our mission is to provide a wide range of services to meet the needs of our small rural community.

About Jamie Lowe

While growing up in southern Minnesota, owner Jamie Lowe enjoyed everything the great outdoors offered. He spent many of his days in the woods, fields, and on the many lakes and rivers that grace the Minnesota landscape. Upon graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2006, Jamie and his family moved to the Pacific Northwest to pursue a career in the field of Natural Resource Management. From 2006 up until now, Jamie has worked alongside and learned from leading experts from all sectors in managing the Conservation of Natural Resources. Jamie and his family relocated back to Minnesota in 2014 to be closer to friends and family, and now call Ely home. While working for the US Forest Service over the last ten years, he has trained and led hundreds of Volunteers in the maintenance and construction of recreation trails and in natural landscape restoration and rehabilitation projects. When not at work, Jamie enjoys attending local sporting events and spending time outdoors.
A Passion to Serve
Jamie came from a family of farmers and tradesmen. At a young age, he learned that you do not deserve what you do not earn. Hard work, family values, and loyalty were important values to live by then and are the same values he holds dear to his heart today. At 12 years old, Jamie followed his father to job sites and was exposed to many construction trades. He has also worked for a handful of contractors spanning southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and western Montana, giving him a broad perspective on the skills and tactics used in the painting profession. The combination of his early construction and property development exposure has helped him understand that successful projects happen with proper planning and hard work. Things do not get done by themselves, and problems do not disappear.
